After updating the version to 4.7.1 I get an error message
The configured geolocation provider **geoip2php** is not available anymore, please configure another one.
Is this option no longer supported in Matomo as suggested by the message or could there an issue with my configuration

Nothing should have changed recently
From which version did you update?
Did you by chance disable the GeoIP2 plugin?
Can you re-configure the geolocation in the admin settings?
Thanks for the feedback. I now see that I am missing the necessary file in misc/ . I initially though that this method was no longer supported by Matomo. My fault
