I have a client that is very concerned about privacy and have chosen Piwik over Google Analytics because of the privacy features.
When I click on the “opt out” option in the iframe I get the piwik_ignore cookie, but all the first party and third party pk_/piwik cookies remains. Shouldn’t they be removed when I opt out?
Another alternative is to remove cookies entirely from Piwik (as mentioned in another forum post), but what will the consequence be? Anyone tried it?
