I have purchased traffic from about 5 different providers to measure results.
2 of them both showed up in GA and Piwik, which is what I wanted. The interesting thing is that with one of the providers the traffic only shows up in GA, but not piwik. The other provider’s traffic is not showing up in either GA or piwik. The 5th one is still being tested.
Does anybody know why traffic would only show up in GA, but now Piwik? I’ve never had any issues with Piwik before, but now I am starting to question it.
What are you guys using to analyze your traffic besides GA and Piwik?
Somebody suggested that Piwik has custom defined settings that define what is a visitor and what is not. As far as I know Piwik does not have that option, but I’m not 100% sure.
Does anybody know why some type of traffic might not show up in Piwik?
