Piwik logs two entries while chrome developer tools is open

Hi ,

We have deployed piwik image tacker through GTM and when chrome developer tool is open , piwik logs two entries though there is only shown one call in chrome developer tool Network tab .

Without opening chrome developer tool , piwik logs one call which is fine .

I have also observed that if I directly deploy piwik javascript tag only then behavior is same i.e. when chrome developer tools is open, piwik is logging two hits .

Do anyone know the reason ?

Hi there,
We experienced this issue a few months ago, and we found that it was a bug in Google Chrome itself. After upgrading Chrome the bug went away. Can you try?
