Hi there, we are looking to use Piwik inside an app but we have some reservations of how it operates.
We have used the following article which is a good reference on tagging in apps:

Now we have tested GTM in the app and this doesn’t send data in real time which the Piwik app does (see dispatching in the above link). This is great from Piwik but we are wondering why Google aren’t sending it in real time. The article says this is to do with saving the battery.
So the question is what is the battery usage of Piwik in Android? Are there any other performance hits from using this?
