Piwik for 5 domains

Hi,

I have 5 domains, hosted at the same internet provider. Each domain point to a directory with different web apps (WordPress, Joomla/VirtueMart, simple/static HTML).

Questions for design:

  1. Is there a way to install piwik only once for all the 5 domains ?
  2. If not: would it be possible to install piwik 5 times with using the same tables (same prefix)
  3. Does piwik recognize access to products / categories of Virtuemart ?

I have pw installed on one host and tracking sites on that same host and other hosts. one install can track many sites on same host or diff.

Pw can be set to track links as goals and campaigns. So say if you wanted to track “cart” pages or “thank you” pages aftr sale then it is very easy to set up.

It is like google analytics if you ever used that.

I have about 16 diff sites being tracked rt now by one install. If you have slow host or shared then maybe better to set up on diff server so that pw and sites are not fighting for same scarce resources.
