Piwik 3.0.1 & 2.17.1: Segmentation fault

Hey there,

the last few Days I got thousands of those Segfaults within Apache Error Logs:

[Sat Jan 28 19:13:07.147497 2017] [core:notice] [pid 28552] AH00052: child pid 22764 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Piwik: 2.17.1
php: 7.0.14

I narrowed the Problem down to Zend OPCache - since I disabled OPCache no more Segfaults. But for obvious reasons it’s not really desirable to run without OPCache …
Any Idea what could cause those Segfaults?

Also lot’s of those Errors where I’m not sure where they come from …

[Fri Jan 27 09:33:36.433254 2017] [:error] [pid 25665] [client 141.228.106.149:3930] Error in Piwik: Action '' not found in the module 'Proxy'

Hope someone can help me on this!

Thank you, bye from Austria

really no answer at all?!? :frowning:

Hi!
Have you upgraded Piwik? Do you have the same problem now?
//E

not updated to V3 yet as it’s a productive System with over 1.000 Customer Accounts / Websites … don’t tend to be early adopter here …

Hello again!
OK I understand.

today I updated to 3.0.1 as Segfaults escalated … update had no issues … but again having segfaults … Am I really the only one with this Problem???

Upgrade to latest PHP version.

If still not working try a strace and see if you find something?

Yes, you’re the only one to have reported this

@matthieu - problem persists … also with latest PHP + Piwik Versions :frowning:

Andreas

Try disable any PHP cache you may be using?

with disabled Zend OPCache the Error is gone - but also Server Load / Page Generation Times go up … :-/

Wow this is so nice good to info

HI!
I don’t know if this is related but I get an error when I try to use a segment:
The segment ‘visitIp%3E%3D138.233.0.0%2CvisitIp%3E%3D140.166.0.0%2CvisitIp%3E%3D146.21.0.0%2CvisitIp%3E%3D10.0.0.0%3BvisitIp%3C%3D138.233.255.255%2CvisitIp%3C%3D140.166.255.255%2CvisitIp%3C%3D146.21.255.255%2CvisitIp%3C%3D10.255.255.255’ is not valid.

But when I log into Piwik the segment works. Very strange. Why does it matter if I am logged in or not?
Any ideas?
Grateful for any tips!

I have same problem than Andreas.
Pwiki 3.0.1
PHP 7.1.1
Apache/2.4.25 (Unix) OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips

Is there anything I can do in order to collect more info that help to find out the problem?
