PHP version, how to change the default

Hi,
is there a possibility to force PIWIK not to use the default version of PHP. On the server that I have (linux server), the default version is now 5.3, but I would like to use the 5.4. The version 5.4 is also installed on the server, but the PIWIK is taking the 5.3.

Upgrade to PHP 5.5, or better PHP7, and use Piwik 3
