PDFReport 'Unable to find the socket transport "ssl"

Hey guys,

We are now trying a report I created manually can be sent by mail.

As an error is always:

An error occured while sending ‘PDF Report - 3.2011-04-27.1.en.pdf’ to Mustermann@Musteradresse.de. Error was ‘Unable to find the socket transport “ssl” - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?’

Actually we want to automate these reports but if this does not even manually, we can let that be.

Yours sincerely,
FISI09

PS: Sorry for my english

Change email settings in Genera Settings, there is something not working with your custom email settings?

If I “use for SMTP server E-mail” click on ‘no’, everything works perfectly. That’s strange, maybe the postfix configured wrong?

Yes the php configuration is wrong, like your error message says “Unable to find the socket transport “ssl” - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?”

Thank you very much for your help. (tu) The problem was solved.

We have forgotten to install openssl on the server.
