It seems to me that my outbound link clicks do not get tracked. Do I have to configure something or what? Any suggestions please.

Yes, you need to specify in the JavaScript code that you want to track outlinks. Check the docs for the right usage depending on your case (e.g. async tracker or old school) or use the code generated via the wizard in the website setup.
