how can one specify the number of dashboard columns?
And how can a column span of a widget be adjusted?
(e.g. if one wants a certain widget to span over two colums)

the documentation states that the number of columns AND the column span of each widget is customizable.
Where and how, PLEASE?

I don’t know where you read that in the documentation…
But the dashboard uses divs, so column spans (ala tables) don’t work.
