well I managed to manually install a user in the databse. now I have a super user, but now I get the following error

Error: no website was found in this Piwik installation.
Check the table ‘site’ in your database, it should contain your Piwik websites.

once again, this is happening because the pikwik “easy” installation is failing without completing. Now I wonder, how can I add a website to the database so I get get to main pikwik screen.

I got to say, your installation process is not very robust.

I think there is something going wrong if the installation fails completely and it is nearly impossible to repair it manually if one doesn’t know what went wrong.

Did the system check show a warning?

Did errors in your php error log appear during the setup?
