No shell acces, no cron ... Can I use PIWIK at all?

Hallo again,

I run webpages on a shared server. I don’t have shell acces and I can’t run cron jobs.
Does it make sense to run PIWIK under such circumstances?.

You should ask your hosting provider. Does the server meet Piwik reqts and would they install it for you. For a low volume traffic, you could use auto archiving (ie not use a cron job).

Other alternatives are self-hosting and third party hosting (Piwik as a hosted service).

Well i’m using Piwik without cronjobs and it works fine… but well I don’t have more than 50 pages views a day!
