No information on how to access VisitorLog as API

Hi I am trying to access the getVisitorLog in XML via an API call. I am unable to find any documentation on this, only the widget version. I found a question on the forum related to this which points to the LIVE module, still, there is nothing that enables me to generate an XML version of this information. How can I do this?
