I am fresh with “Piwik” and I have instead of an update notice a notice “Piwik 0.2.37 is a collaborative project.

how can I get the update notice???

Your PHP build either lacks the curl extension (or has disabled it). At present, the update check requires the curl extension. A member of the Piwik community is developing a pure socket-based replacement, and should make it into a future Piwik release.

Thanks for the replay, I have tried the curl extension - but with no luck.
I managed trough manual update to update to version 0.4.
