No data: so how do I troubleshoot?

Fresh install on a new server. I’ve installed the WP Plugin, and am showing no data. How do I test the data path and find the disconnect?

When no data reaches Matomo, the issue often happens in the browser.

So open your website in a browser, open the browsers developer tools, and check the console for errors. In the network tab, you should see a request to piwik.js and piwik.php.
