Mysqli prepare error: INSERT,UPDATE command denied to user

Hi,

it seems like there’s a new problem up with Piwik. I’ve searched the forum, and other places, didn’t find anything specific about it. If you search the title on Google, you will find a lot of website with the same error.

I haven’t updated Piwik lately, or at least, it was working since my last update (I think I’m at 1.1 now). This problem appeared this morning (yesterday or the day before (last time i checked in) was fine).

Now, when I try to login to my Piwik, I get blocked with this error :

Mysqli prepare error: INSERT,UPDATE command denied to user ‘user’@‘host’ for table ‘piwik_option’

It might have been that my database was full, but I did a dump and cleared some space, and I’m still getting the error.

Any clue?

Your webhost changed the permission on your database user. please contact your webhost to get it fixed
