Multiple consents?

Hi,
I would like to get user consent on data gathering for my website.
When I read Matomo site (JavaScript Tracking Client: Integrate - Matomo Analytics (formerly Piwik Analytics) - Developer Docs - v3), it says that I must think on how I will use data : “Legitimate interest” or “Consent”.
I think that some data are used for “Legitimate interest” and others should get user “Consent”.

Does Matomo allow us to remember several consents depending on how data is used ?

Hi,

The differentiation between "Legitimate interest” or “Consent” is a legal one and not a technical one. Depending on your local data privacy laws this differentiation also might be completly different.

Matomo can only store one consent value.
