Menu title is not showing up

Hi all,
Fairly new to piwik. Following the getting started guide for the plugins: http://developer.piwik.org/guides/getting-started-part-2
And uncommenting the menu->title does not show the menu item in the nav… any clue where i could be going wrong? or is this outdated? on the latest build.

blah. The issue was that the plugin itself was not activated yet! :\
