Meaning of a conversion in Excel export of the “Objectives” > “Entry page” report

Hello,

I am wondering about the meaning of a conversion in the Excel export of the report located in “Objectives” > “Entry Pages”. I’m talking here about the numbers in the column titled “Conversions (idgoal=X)”.

Is a conversion attributed to a page each time it is the entry page of a conversion ? Or is a conversion attributed each time this page was consulted in the navigation path before the conversion (without it necessarily having been the entry page)?

If you navigate to the entry page report and scroll to the bottom and change the visualization to show the goal’s you will see the conversions by entry page. This should match up with the export. These are the conversions for that goal for that entry page.
