Hi,
we have started using Matomo last year with setup that uses cookies. Since 1.1.2022 (GDPR update in the Czech republic) we changed our cookies setting to opt-out (cookies are not stored until user gives a consent). We haven’t changed Matomo settings yet.
I understand that this change impacts unique visits accurancy (since not all users have cookies in their browsers) but the change shouldn’t affect Nonqunie visits metric at all, right?
