Matomo data discrepancy between direct and organic

We are experiencing a problem between direct traffic and organic traffic, we notice that, in matomo we have more direct inputs compared to GA4 and a reduction in traffic coming from organic search. Once again it appears that organic search is counted as direct input. What can we do about it?
An important thing to underline is that the Matomo code is inserted as the first script delivered on the page, and while the ga4 script is delivered only after acceptance of the tracking cookies

Could you help me solve the problem and understand how it is possible to align the data?
