Lighttpd - Not collecting IP Address - 0.0.0.0

I have just migrated from Apache to Lighttpd. Piwik is no longer collecting the IP addresses of users that visit my site, instead it returns 0.0.0.0 for each user.

Is there any additional modules that need to be enabled with Lighttpd in order to collect the IP address?

Has anyone else had success with Piwik and Lighttpd?

PM the output from phpinfo() using a remote connection.

It appears to be working again now.

I’m not 100% sure but the only change I did was disable IPv6 in the lighttpd configuration file.

I am guessing with IPv6 enabled it reports the IP as something like ::ffff:127.0.0.1

which might cause issues with Piwik??? dunno…
