Jetpack stats import to Matomo

Hi,

I would like to move from jetpack stats to Matomo plugin for wordpress. Anyone who has done that move and is it possible to import historical jetpack stats (for the past two years) to Matomo ?

Hi,

If you know a way to get the raw data out of jetpack, then one could write a not that complex program that imports that data into Matomo.

If you only know a way to get the generated reports out of jetpack, then it should still be possible to write a plugin like https://github.com/matomo-org/plugin-GoogleAnalyticsImporter that displays these reports in Matomo

Enhancement

First of all: Thank you very much for this project! I'm pretty confident that it… will enhance the use of Matomo for many Wordpress Admins interested in protecting the privacy of their users. There's one suggestion I have: I think it would facilitate the migration from currently used analytics tools (such as Wordpress Stats by Jetpack in my example) if an option for an automated import of the currently existing tracking data to Matomo existed. Are there any chances to implement such a functionality?
