13Mb is very small IMHO for a table with PIWIK so if I where you I would just leave it alone until you have been running for a few weeks or until you encounter an issue. You never know when you maybe want to clear down and rebuild data when you are using new systems.
From my understanding the tables will only be recreated when if you purge them. I get this opinion from reading http://piwik.org/docs/plugins/database-schema/#toc-archived-data
If you are concerned about MySQL storage limits then I would suggess you look at http://piwik.org/faq/troubleshooting/#faq_42 as that is more likely reduce storage space needed.
