If I have understood properly, a bounce occurs when a visitor lands on a page and immediately leaves the website. My question is two-fold:
If he leaves the page without taking any direct action on the page is his departure considered an action – say, he closes his browser window, closes a tab, or leaves the window or tab open, but does nothing more with the page.
Surely, if he leaves the page as soon as he has landed, but via an external link on the page, this is counted as an action. Is this not correct?
