Installed Piwik on Raspberry Pi

Hi All,
I tried to install Piwik on Raspberry Pi.
I followed the installation guide and I didn’t meet problem.
Now, when I go in the “Settings” page, in particular in the Websites section, I can’t “Add new site” and I can’t also “edit” the first site created during installation, because when I click the buttons or links, they don’t work.
As you can see below, html code of the buttons and links are empty:

Instead, links in the left and top side work fine.
I highlighted in the follow screenshot in green what works and red what doesn’t work.

Is it a known issue?
What can I check and fix?

Hi matt,
I have uninstalled the previous version and I have followed your suggest to install the last build “Piwik 2.0-b3”.
The behaviour is the same.
When I try to click for example on “Add new website” doesn’t happen nothing.

have you deleted your browser cache?
any javascript error in your browser?
can you try with different browser?

I have changed different browsers (chrome, firefox, I.E.) but the behavior is the same

I note two javascript errors:


ReferenceError: $ is not defined
http://paga.dnsget.org/piwik/index.php?module=SitesManager&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday:32

ReferenceError: SitesManager is not defined
http://paga.dnsget.org/piwik/index.php?module=SitesManager&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday:280

Good. Maybe the solution would be a simple php setting change. Can you look in your server error logs for some indication?

Update 2020: this is an old thread but we have since heard of users successfully running Matomo on Raspberry Pi, if you are reading this, feel free to leave a comment :slight_smile:
