While in installation process, can I add an IP of a website-suppose I m working in local server. One more thing, is it compulsory to add the generated javascript snippet to the page in order to track ? I’m new to Piwik, do help me. Thank you.
It’s necessary to add javascript tracking code to website to track. Or you can also import logs instead: Log Analytics - Analytics Platform - Matomo
You can add IP of website instead of site URL.
