Install Funnel Plugin

Hi,
Currently I evaluate the Piwik software (v1.5) and I was trying to install the 3rd party funnel plugin. But I have problems with that installation. I downloaded the latest plugin version from github, unzip and upload to server under piwik/plugins. The problem is when I visit Piwik admin interface to install the plugin it show the error: “Unable to load plugin ‘jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10’ because ‘/var/www/web3/html/piwik/plugins/jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10/jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10.php’ couldn’t be found. You can manually uninstall the plugin by removing the line Plugins[] = jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10 from the Piwik config file.”

Does someone know about this problem? Maybe someone has a hint how can I solve this problem.

We want analyze the click paths in our page. Can we use the funnel plugin for this task?

Thanks in advance.

With best regards,

Dirk

You should upload in piwik/plugins/ the directory inside jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10 which will be called “Funnels” or somethign like this

Hi Matt,
Thank you very much for your reply. Based on your hint I was able to solve this problem. The directory name “jesstelford-funnels-2bdbc10”, which is included in the download source file (jesstelford-funnels-0.2-15-g2bdbc10.zip) must be renamed to directory name “Funnels”. Then the reference to the funnel.php, which is included in the root of this directory, is set in the correct way.

Thank you Matt, once again.

Cheers

Dirk

Thanks for following up. To me, I would say that this is a bug that the directory name is not correct by default. Please contact the plugin author to let him know, if he can put the right name directly

Does this plugin work for Piwik 1.7?
