Importing logs via import.py

Hi all,

I’m importing logs from servers separate to my Piwik server that I can’t insert the tracking code into by rsyncing them weekly and importing them. Since I use --enable-reverse-dns it can sometimes take longer than my next cron run.

Do I need to disable the cron when importing these or does it not matter if the cron runs whilst the import process is running?

If you run the cron before all stats are imported, then Piwik might process “yesterdays’” data without the full set of visitors, causing incomplete reports
