Importing data from Google Analytics is very slow

Hi all,
I need to import all data from my Google Analytics into Matomo On Prem

I have an account with about 150 properties and some of sites have about 2 mln of page views per month

I have tried the Google Importer Plugin for a site with 100.000 page views / month and after three days is still importing data (it has imported only two years)

I know the limitations of Google Analytics apis; is there a better choice to do the import?
