import_logs.py and duplicated logs

Hello,

I have a question about importing logs from apache. If someone try to import the same log, the script will import again the same visitors?
If someone try to import a log from x week, and the next week a another log, but in second log is exist records from x week, the script will import again the x week?

Yes the script will import again if you run it several times. Please make sure you only import a given log file once.

Hi, this doesnt make sense from the point of server setup and infrastructure, Deduplication should be handled in this case by matomo. The overhead of with log rotation is too error prone.
