Howto store joomla user data in own database?

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is a possibility to store my visitors data in an own database? My database i getting bigger and bigger and it would be helpfull if there is a way to do so?

Would be nice if there is a way or a workaround to store my data in a seperate sql-database?

I use the latest version of piwik (1.2) and joomla (1.5.22)

Any help, hints or workaround would be extremely helpfull!

You can move your piwik tables to a new database.
See the first two points in: Installation - Analytics Platform - Matomo
Then change the “[database] db” in your config/config.ini.php to the new DB name
