Hi all, I’m having trouble finding how to set Geolocation of visitors to a less specific area, I don’t need to know exactly where visitors are coming from (city/town) and so I’d like to set it to region/state. I seem to remember a few options in the settings but now there are none? Looking for some advice, cheers!
I’m not aware there was ever an option to do this.
But you can use the Region/ Province widget for this and put it on your dashboard, for example.
Please note, however, that there are unfortunately problems with regions with the Lite database from db-ip.com. The Lite database does not support ISO codes for the location, so sometimes it is not possible for Matomo to determine it.
