How to automatically set up auto-archiving for all websites, in Windows?

Hi All,

Our system uses piwik. We have a Windows 2008 R2 server that runs piwik.

We need to know how to achieve this: automactially set up auto-archiving for all websites.

Our users can use our system to create certain apps; whenever an app gets created, our system calls piwik API to automatically create an “idSite” in piwik.

Now, many of these sites will be high traffic sites. So we do not want to manually schedule a task, for each site, in piwik, as instructed in this link:

http://piwik.org/docs/setup-auto-archiving/#disable-browser-triggers-for-piwik-archiving-and-limit-piwik-reports-to-updating-every-hour

What we need to do is: whenever a new idSite is created, we also want to “progranmmatically” set up the auto-archiving for this site.

Please let us know how to achieve this? Has anyone done the same or similar thing already?

Thanks,
Claudia

when you setup auto archiving, it will automatically archive all sites within the Piwik
