I am using Piwik to log an internal only, knowledge base / wiki (Confluence). I see the IP as the primary identifier of the visitor. I also see my domain listed as a provider but there are no host level details there.
Is there a way to see both the host name as the visitor ID (through gethostbyaddress) or display the IP number AND the host name?
Can I simply write the host name to that field instead of IP (I think there are database structure problems with this)?
