Help; Hack/Malware in Matomo file

Hi! I am new here and hope some one can point what to do.
I have site scanner service by hosting company and it detected following hack/malware:

STR|Hacked_by_string|XXXX|02/11/22|/home/u1255-bovaalnsyghz/www/MYSITE/public_html/wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/vendor/matomo/device-detector/regexes/bots.yml

I uptaded Matomo WP plugin yesterday and suspect it relates to that.

Should I just revert site? Would it solve anything?

You can compare your file with https://github.com/matomo-org/device-detector/blob/9b476ec467ddd98ab52974ae76468c9208eae075/regexes/bots.yml
Maybe the site scanner detected a listet bot in the yml file.
