GoogleAuthenticator could not be loaded

Hi, since upgrading Matomo to >4 I now regularly see this system message highlighted in red at the top of my screen:

The plugin GoogleAuthenticator could not be loaded as it has missing dependencies: GoogleAuthenticator requires Piwik <4.0.0-b1. Please contact your Matomo administrator.

I am not aware of any adverse effect on operations but it is clearly new behaviour. Any advice gratefully received on actions I ought to take.

Hi,

The GoogleAuthenticator plugin doesn’t support Matomo 4, so it can’t be used. But it is not needed anyway as its features are a part of core Matomo for quite some while now. So you can savely uninstall the plugin.
