geoipUpdateRows.php: Cannot redeclare geoip_country_code_by_name

As the subject says: when runninng
geoipUpdateRows.php
I get:
Cannot redeclare geoip_country_code_by_name
GeoIP plugin is from TRAC Ticket #45, Piwik is 1.8.4

Any ideas?

Update to Piwik 1.9 where geoip is now included in core

Thanks for the hint, but I had trouble with my 1.9 fresh install.

Anyway, commenting out


extension=geoip.so

in /etc/php5/conf.d/geoip.ini helped, so I now have 1.8.4 up and running.

please try 1.9.1 and if you have any trouble - let me know! it’s not supposed to have any trouble :slight_smile:
