New user to Piwik, lost in the weeds.
- I have ‘a’ site I want to tally statistics for: www.example.com. It is a high volume site.
- I have a set of varnish hosts in front of apache servers.
- I have a dedicated host with ‘plenty’ of RAM for a dedicated piwik host.
- I can not use the JS tracking code.
What I believe I want to do is
- Rsync relevant /var/log directories from cache and web hosts to the dedicated piwik host.
- Run log analytics on them on the dedicated piwik host.
Am I on track? Any advice?
