Our company is testing analytical software for our newspaper’s website. I have had a lot of referrals to Piwik. I have one or maybe more questions on how this software would work for us:
We are behind a firewall with the monitoring server on the LAN we operate from. Our web server is on a completely hosted solution and running Lightspeed/WordPress for our website. Our website is at www.website.com and our monitor is pointed to our external IP address for our LAN at monitor.website.com However, our internal domain is internal.network.com that is completely different than our website domain, which means that monitor.website.com is not an accessible address. We have to use monitor.internal.network.com to reach our monitor network internally. What is the suggested method to install our Piwik server?
