We’re noticing an issue for two clients of ours where Matomo appears to be double-counting Facebook paid traffic or registering them as new visits too.Our visit numbers are significantly higher than the actual clicks from our Meta campaigns, without any changes to campaign settings.
I found this in Matomo’s documentation about this (https://matomo.org/faq/how-to/faq_19616/), we’d like to verify:
- Is anyone else experiencing similar inflation of Facebook visits in Matomo their PPC running campaigns?
- If so, is there a fix or working solution for this? And would the option of the link be it’s solution?
