So I’m runnig matomo on premise installed on my server.
I would love to export data for sales and goal conversions with full customer journeys so that I can take that data to AI and ask it to give me a list of sales or goal conversions which contain certain utm params so that I can actually see which channels trully brought sales and goal conversions on my website.
Because, for those familiar, matomo assigns the conversion to the last non-direct source, and this creates problems for various scenarios.
But I can at least export a CSV file with complete customer journey for sales and goals, then I can extract the data I need with AI’s help and have a true source of truth about which channel drove the conversion.
Is there any possibility to do this?
So far, the easiest one that can be trusted that I came accross is quering the SQL database directly with queries that will extrapolate the data I need then exporting that as CSV, but if there’s a simpler way of doing things that would be better.
Can anyone help with this?
