Error: exception thrown during rendering of a template

The following error was presented in a Piwik installation, in the dashboard, after login, in the place for the returning visitors widget:


Error in Piwik: An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Unable to create the cache directory (/path/to/piwik/tmp/templates_c/2c/f9).") in "@CoreHome/_dataTable.twig" at line 33.

Refreshing the widget resulted in it immediately be working again and the error did not reappear.

Any thoughts?

Hi Peter, it should be OK if the error is gone after a refresh. it could be a small side effect of the upgrade but should not affect beyond that.
