We use Matomo for Wordpress and we recently set the email report up (with success). What we are trying to achieve is : on a weekly or monthly basis, to get the statistics from the beginning of the current year to date. If we take today as an example, that would be from January 1st 2023 to October 11th 2023. A week after, that would be from January 1st 2023 to October 18th 2023. We couldn’t find a way to do this using the report period parameter. In addition, we noted that the date picker at the top of this report creation page could influence the report content so we are not sure we got it right.
Is this achievable ? If not, we didn’t manage to get the statistics for the last 12 months neither. I understood that only the periods corresponding to the email frequencies could be displayed in the reports (and “yearly” doesn’t appear as an option).

This is currently not possible. The date selector visible in the report create/update has no effect, and the one in the reports list change the date used when clicking on Send Report now or Download links.
