Guys, if you experience issues, you can actually debug and know directly what is going wrong.

Enable debug as per: Tracking API - Analytics Platform - Matomo

Then, go to your page where the goal is triggered. Then using Firebug tool, look at the piwik.php… request and look at the “RESPONSE” and see the debug message. Paste it here

I was about to give up and throw the towel in;-)

I’ll give that debugging one shot later today and then call it quits. It’s been absorbing my days;-)

Edit: Ok, so i have tested again, made your suggested change in piwik.php and made a sale. I’m not sure how to get the results you are referring to about the post request. I have Firebug but cannot reproduce anything you mention. Couldbe my lack of knowledge on the subject, could beFirebug is not the same as the specific add-on you mention.

Weird thing though: My sale did get registered, but several other sales of today by actual clients did not. I’m puzzled.

in Firebug, look at the NET panel: http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/File:Net_Panel.png

then you will see there the request to piwik.php

if you have enabled DEBUG in your piwik.php you will see all the information you need to know to find the issue and understand why it is not tracking properly

I know users using piwik on ecommerce sites and it is working, tracking more than 95% of all conversions (except some blocked with adblocks / etc.)

I really donot see any reference to any NET panel. I’m using FB 1.5.4, i’ll upgrade right now. I do still have my succes page open to be able to look into it without keep doing testorders.

I do not use the tracking image though, i did see something mentioned about that, do i need to for the program to be able to print that log?

edit; In the upgrade to 1.6 there’s a net panel. I’ll try again./

I must be crazy. Looks like all vars are there like they should be. Yet this last sale is not recorded in our back end. "Allow Goal to be converted more than once per visit " is checked.

you copied only a part of the request right? normally there would be more text, including the one saying that a Goal is triggered and inserted in the DB

I just tried again to see if i could get better results, but got nothing worth using.

There is a problem, somehow the goal is not triggered - please send me your site URL + bug description + the URL that triggered this DEBUG output + if possible, FTP access to this Piwik at matt att piwik.org, I will take a look, thanks!

Hi There,

I have installed the piwik on my local system. Also, I have install piwik magento extension in local magento site It is working for visitor chart but I have placed one order in magento but it was not reflect in piwik. Also, Images were not load in magento piwik report so how to resolved that please help me it’s urgent.
