Suppose my visitor clicks on a button on my site www.xyz.com which takes him to another site suppose www.abc.com.
And that site redirects him back to my site again.
So does piwik creates a new session for this visitor or the same?

The easiest way to find out would be testing and check what happens.
But I think if the site redirects back it won’t start a new visit, but the site will appear as visited twice.
