I’m troubleshooting some issues on my website and had noticed that some users weren’t showing appearing at all in Piwik. I see that there is a setting to track these visitors (assuming they have DNT enabled).
Does changing this setting afect any Piwik code?
IE: If a user who has a browser that has a DNT request visits the website, is there any way by looking at the code that someone would know that at the moment this overide feature is enabled?
The reason I ask is that I am legitimately troubleshooting why certain users have an issue and need to log as much data as possible. However, if this code is visible, I do not want search engines to negatively look at my website.
