Disable Browser Archiving

Hi all.

I might be misunderstanding the setting “enable_browser_archiving_triggering”.

Shouldn’t disabling this prevent piwik from running an archive when you visit the dashboard?

If this IS the case, then why won’t it show today’s stats that have already been archived? Let’s say I turn it off now, but there were already stats for today, why are there suddenly no stats?

Or, am I misunderstanding the point of this setting?

(I’m still trying to work around the HUGE memory issue)

thanks.

you would also need to change: time_before_today_archive_considered_outdated

otherwise the archive that is processed is detected but too old so is not valid. If you set time_before_today_archive_considered_outdated to 2 hours for example, this might work better.

Excellent, thanks for the info.
