Counting users who decline tracking cookies

Hey all

I’ve been having a look through Matomo’s Tracking Consent page and I’m wondering if Matomo stores metrics on whether users accept or decline tracking, based on the implementation details provided there.

Is this something Matomo currently does or is feasible as a feature request?

When I look at the JS implementation on the above link, I get the feeling that there may be some client-server interaction when tracking consent methods are called and it would be pretty handy to have this data recorded.

Any thoughts?

you can achieve this with tag manager and a (custom) report of these click events.
